Simon Guest is a computer science and AI educator focused on helping the next generation understand how modern computing systems work, from foundational software engineering to generative AI.
He teaches computer science and AI at the DigiPen Institute of Technology and advises organizations building educational technology used by millions of students worldwide.
Before moving into education full time, Simon spent 25+ years building large-scale software systems and leading engineering teams at companies including Amazon, Microsoft, and SAP Concur. He later served as Chief Technology Officer at Code.org, where he led the engineering organization behind the nonprofit’s global computer science learning platform.
